About Lori Morris
Let me introduce myself… I am Lori Morris. I am proud to live in the Quad Cities with my husband and youngest son. My oldest son lives nearby as well as my husband’s very large extended family. My daughter lives outside of Orlando Florida with her husband and my three grandsons. It’s hard being this far away from those crazy boys, but we try to visit each other often, and count on FaceTiming in between!
My background is in the legal field. I was a paralegal in Florida for about twenty years. So all of the contracts and paperwork that can be so daunting to many Realtors, are like second nature to me. I also enjoy rehabbing homes in my spare time, although this has taken a back seat to my real estate career. This means I know homes, the ins and the outs.
When I moved back to the Quad Cities in 2016, I began working as a Property Manager for a large apartment management company, with properties across Iowa. I learned just how much I enjoy helping people find their next new home. I was also their Marketing Director, and learned so many great ways to market the apartments we had to offer. That knowledge continues to help me help my sellers when I market their homes. We make sure that every home has the exposure it deserves to get the best possible offer in the shortest amount of time.
Back in 2010, I originally obtained my Real Estate License in Florida and used my license primarily in my house flipping business and to help a few friends and family buy or sell. When I moved to Iowa in 2016, the obvious choice was to get my license in Iowa as well, and Illinois followed shortly thereafter. I fell into a role as a Transaction Coordinator for some amazing agents starting in 2020. Finally, after 13 years of having a license, in 2023, I decided to make Real Estate my full-time career. I am so excited that you are considering taking this journey with me!
